Things to Know Before you Go!

1. What travel documents will I need?

You will need a valid passport in order to travel to and from France. Be sure that your passport does not expire within six months of your travel dates.

2. Should I rent a car?

It is not necessary to rent a car if you are staying in Antibes, as there are Ubers and taxis easily accessible. If you are planning a longer stay and want to see neighboring towns throughout the French Riviera, you may rent a car to explore the other areas, but an uber will be able to take you to those towns as well. There is also a local train that runs along the coast.

3. What towns are nearby that I should see?

Antibes is located between Cannes and Nice. Nice and Cannes are both bigger cities than Antibes, with great restaurants, beaches and nightlife. Grasse is about 40 minutes from Antibes and is the perfume capitol of the world. Provence is about two hours away, with many quaint towns to explore. Other great beach towns along the coast are Ville-Franche-Sur-Mer, Eze, and Menton. If you are a gambler (shoutout to the Lavinos), you can take a day trip to Monte-Carlo, Monaco to see the famous casino!

4. Do I need to reserve beach chairs in advance?

As it is high season in Antibes, it is highly recommended to rent beach chairs in advance if you plan on having a beach day. You may book some beach clubs online, or you may call your hotel to help you book them.

5. Will there be transportation to and from the welcome party?

The Welcome Party is conveniently located in Juans-Les-Pins, Antibes, which is a 4 minute car ride from Hotel Juana and Le 1932, and a 6 minute drive from Royal Antibes. For those who enjoy walking, it is about 20 minutes from Hotel Juana and Le 1932, and about 30 minutes from Royal Antibes.

6. Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Getting there: There will be shuttles to and from the wedding. The two pick-up points for the shuttles will be at Hotel Juana and Royal Antibes. The shuttles will pick guests up at 4:45pm.

Getting home: There will be mini shuttles bringing guests back to their hotels starting at midnight. The shuttles will run continuously from 12:00am-3:00am.

7. Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, we want you to relax and let loose! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

8. Are European weddings similar to American weddings?

No! We are on European time, which means everything moves at a (way) slower pace :). Sit back, relax, enjoy a long dinner over wine and great food, and then get ready to dance under the stars all night long!
